Sunday Morning

Joshua 1:8 – “The Centrality of God’s Word”

The Big Idea: Spiritual Success in the Christian life comes only to those who meditate on God’s Word day and night and courageously put it into action.

Sunday Night

Genesis 16:7-16 – “The God Who Hears and Sees Us”

The Big Idea: In your affliction, when it might seem as though God has forgotten you, you must not resort to human reasoning or try to run away but submit to God’s gracious overruling providence knowing that he hears you, sees you, and will bless you if you obey him.

Sunday Morning

Psalm 19:7-11 “The Attributes of Scripture” pt. 2

The Big Idea: The Divine Scriptures are the utmost treasure and pleasure this world affords us.

Missed part one? Here is the link for that also – Psalm 19:7-11 “The Attributes of Scripture” pt. 1

Sunday Night

Genesis 16:1-6 “Rushing Ahead of God”

The Big Idea: Human effort never accomplishes God’s plan and it is foolish to think it ever would. Instead of doubting God’s sure Word by impatiently taking matters into our own hands, we must patiently and humbly submit to God’s perfect way because he hears us and sees us in our distress.

Sunday Morning:

Psalm 139:13-16 “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”

The Big Idea: All human life, from conception to death, regardless of the circumstances of conception or the level of dependence or functionality, is fearfully and wonderfully made by the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent God of the universe and therefore abortion and euthanasia are wicked callous assaults on God who nonetheless mercifully offers not only forgiveness but justification by faith alone in His blameless Son Jesus Christ for all who trust in Him.
